Your Seat at the Table

As your representative for District 16 (Town of Newburgh), I believe that local government works best when it is transparent and accessible. These monthly legislative sessions are the primary forum where we debate and vote on the policies, budgets, and local laws that shape the future of Orange County.

I encourage you to attend or watch these sessions to stay informed on the issues impacting our community, from smart economic growth and public transportation access to the preservation of our local greenspaces.

Meeting Agenda & Public Participation

Each session typically includes:

• Public Comment Period: A dedicated time at the beginning of the meeting for residents to address the Legislature directly (usually limited to 3 minutes per speaker).
• Committee Reports: Updates from Physical Services, Ways and Means, and Health/Mental Health committees.
• Legislative Votes: Formal action on resolutions and local laws.

How to Stay Engaged

• Attend in Person: Join us in the Legislative Chambers on the 3rd floor.
• Live Stream: If you cannot attend in person, meetings are broadcast live via the Orange County YouTube channel.
• Review the Agenda: Agendas and minutes are posted in theCounty Agenda Center prior to each meeting.
