Economic development is about more than just numbers; it is about creating real opportunities for our neighbors to thrive. As your County Legislator, I am leveraging my 15+ years of experience as an HR Executive and my background in organizational psychology to bridge the gap between our local industries and our workforce. My mission is to ensure that as Orange County grows, no one is left behind, and that every resident has the training and support needed to secure a stable, good-paying career.

Legislative Agenda for Economic Growth

Our office is focused on four key pillars to strengthen the District 16 economy:

• Strategic Educational Partnerships: Supporting direct collaborations between county agencies, local businesses, and community colleges to align vocational training with the needs of the modern job market.
• Local Hiring Initiatives: Advocating for local hiring requirements in county-funded contracts to ensure that tax dollars directly support Orange County workers and their families.
• Inclusive Job Training: Creating and expanding specialized job training programs specifically designed for underserved populations to remove barriers to entry into high-growth industries.
• Living Wage Advocacy: Pushing for living wage policies and a responsible county-wide minimum wage that reflects the actual cost of living in our region, ensuring that a full-time job provides a stable foundation for working families.
