NEW WINDSOR - Orange County lawmakers stood outside the County’s Industrial Development Agency offices on Monday to condemn it for what they say is failing to hold companies accountable for job creation promises in exchange for tax incentives.

The lawmakers called for greater oversight and accountability from the Orange County Industrial Development Agency (IDA), criticizing what they termed an ‘oversight failure’ in monitoring whether companies that receive tax breaks actually deliver on their commitments to create jobs in the community.
