GOSHEN – The newest class of Orange County Democratic Legislators took their oaths of office on January 2. The Orange County Democratic Caucus hosted this historic swearing-in ceremony for its newly elected legislators, having swept a number of races in November.

The ceremony, held in the County’s legislative chambers in Goshen, was an important event marking the beginning of a new term for the elected officials. The newly sworn-in legislators include Virginia Scott (District 12), Stephen Hunter (District 16), Gabrielle Hill (District 6), Laurie Tautel (District 14), Genesis Ramos (District 4), Jonathan Redeker (District 2), Sparrow Tobin (District 20), Deshanda Carter (District 11), and Matthew Fascaldi (District 15).
